Just learning react with rails.. i saw this video on react on rails haha i thought it was better to use that ...

@AleCx04 in Ruby I tried to do a simple code that would output something and then using gets method to get the input from the user.. but what’s happening is that it does the input before it’s output... nooby question here haha.. plus what does symbols do on ruby? They say that it is immutable but once I assigned a new value it actually changes the value...

@AleCx04 so ruby ok .. im just actually trying to learn any demanding technologies in the job market.. it has been really hard getting my foot on the door...Any projects that I can work on that would look on a portfolio

@smallTalker do you have any estimates on how long will you land a job by doing meetups? Thanks for the tips.. It’s just that I dont have any confidents anymore knowing that I have been rejected alot so ... all the negativities are all in my head and stuff like that I guess I’m pretty beat up with all of this.. and the pressure of not having a job as well...

No future im in the same boat as you ... for a year now.. just do odd jobs.. there’s no opportunity for us to progress... even if I had to work on personal projects and tell them that I have but still they dont consider you after all of that..

@sladuled It’s really hard imagine to do that for a year really just pursuing it.. and then comes in the gap in experience and all that stuff..

@sladuled I mean I answered they’re questions.. but somehow they just didn’t want me.. sometimes they say elaborate more sometimes they say lack of experience sometimes they say doesn’t fit with the company.. what else can I do?

Functional programming is an approach to create a code by constructing methods to either create a user defined sets of libraries.. so using prebuilt libraries/functions are not necessarily included it all depends on the needs of the program...

Yea, so true. I’m waiting for a confirmation right now they told me they would give me an update by friday or monday but I still havent got an answer as of the moment.. still waiting.. it makes you feel like rhey are trying to find a better person like you rather than just pick you...in the first place...
