@PhantomBKB hahahaha 😂😂

Guys, I'm not impling that while writing every java program we hit null pointer exceptions. While working at Firefox for android I hit many null pointer exception. I know I might not have followed proper Java code writing style. Java is verbose and due to most people using Ruby like languages which is very readable and less verbose lots of things are done and programming is better. To be better for developers Apple introduced Swift which is better than objective-c and same is happening for Android. Modern language is needed for modern times.
-
@rusty-hacker yeah Scala is good for android but you see the jetbrains company that made the IDE and android studio are responsible for Kotlin. Hence the extensive support whereas for Scala it is done by volunteers.
-
It's Amazing right?😁😁
-
@QCat yeah LISP is ama-wait for it-zing.
-
@QCat you're doing lisp?? That's amazing man.
-
@sebgignac S for Suck maybe.
-
@bdhobare Thanks man for the advice.
-
@lasseontherant i knew about the driver support. I've used arch linux for maybe like 2+ years. The laptop was cheaper than fucking overpriced with no good specs MACBOOK PRO. Anyways who would miss out on a device with 6th gen i7, nvidia 1060 GTX, 16 gigs ram, 500 GB SSD.
-
@Linux for games Windows wins. But for real Unix like OS, there's no comparison to Linux. I love Linux. I love Terminal.
-
@Linux yeah the driver runs ok. But what about new games? Only some games are made for steam linux. Even John Carmack told Linux will be the obstacle for steam or something like that. Wine works hard but it takes hell lotta time for new ones.
-
@Linux been there done that. I am not dissing Linux or anything. I am just expressing how windows people get all those support that they take for granted which we Linux People have to configure.
-
And then most developers use Mac OS.
-
@penguin you should. Don't believe everything you read on internet and see it for yourself. If you don't like text editors choose IDE. Believe in yourself. I tried it all and felt at home in Emacs.
-
@penguin superior in ugly configuration codes and fucking modes.
-
@arthur23 me too dude. I wish you all the best.
-
After this i think you'll be like this to them.
-
Fuck you guys, I use Emacs. It's like a complete fucking OS. IDE who?
-
@CSaratakij it's good but Emacs is Emacs.
-
@jaaywags editors only matter for programmer. It's for our own sake to choose the editor we feel comfortable in.
-
@tahnik I've been on the dark side too long. It's time I return to being Jedi Knight.
-
@dontbeevil You haven't felt the power of the Force.
-
@thesinding yes. The force is strong with Emacs.
-
@magicMirror configuration sucks big time. I wrote some vim scripts for automating parenthesis for writing clojure. It was going good. After some time i copied some codes into the configuration and nothing works now. The code seems ok. Vim script is can be confusing alot unlike Emacs lisp which is readable and straightforward.

What about microphone?
-
That setup though...
-
@treeroot exactly.

It's hard to stay away from the terminal running heavily configured zsh. Terminal is love. Terminal is life. oh and the goodness of tmux and the pleasure of running Vim. 😚😚
