But you are root. You can disable the camera entirely and only enable it when needed.

But really it's difficult for them to enable it if you've disabled it from the kernel or something.

I used AnyDesk to turn on my webcam at home to check out my cats. Then I though that if I saw a ghost I would never return home and my cats would starve so I closed it again.

Bottom line, I want my webcam unblocked for ghost hunting 👻

Can't believe nobody has said anything about the "I am root". I need that wallpaper now!
