@NoToJavaScript good for you, I think it’s bullshit and a huge waste of time for my use case
-
@NoToJavaScript Squidex. Not out own system, not in my responsibility Gandalf!
-
@Lensflare you don’t have to tell me that it wasn’t made for it… I know that 🤣 first hand pain experience
-
@Lensflare trust me you don’t want to write those queries either… it’s just not right for the use case
-
@virtualdev glad to hear that 😁 well I think of my old job once in a while and really have no good memories whatsoever. Quitting was the best decision of my life
-
@virtualdev much, much, much better! There is no comparison between the two
-
@IntrusionCM Wireshark is one of those tools one really needs to learn how to appreciate. Definitely agree on that, and as you said really useful. I used it in some other security scenarios before. Oh and luckily the MQTT parcels are not encrypted
-
@IntrusionCM good thought, although it might not even reach the server due to some error (probably some misconfiguration with the proxy and web sockets). But I’ll give it a try 👌✌️
-
@SuspiciousBug I tried actually, but that did not help :/ Bit thanks for the thought!
-
@IntrusionCM on an Apache server?
-
@Khazbs haha thanks 😁. Trying but it’s not really resolving. It’s always stressful with deadlines close by…
-
@Khazbs MQTT is in general a really nice system. But it depends on your sever config etc. how nicely it works. The concept in general is quite good. I’m just ranting out of frustration. You shouldn’t be scared based on rants 😛
-
@NoMad know the feeling! I‘m sure you’ll do great!
-
*anxiety noises*

@iiii Hm maybe I should give it a try... actually I have not seen a doctor yet since it was holiday weekend and it seemed fine (nothing broken). It's just that I feel guilt (yes I know it's stupid to feel that for that employer) if I would be sick again... it's so much stress :-/
-
@iiii I did not work for two weeks, but I don't feel any better now due to pain and "bad mental health" (current job is the main reason for this). I only have eight days left at this job and I will start a new one in two weeks.

I recently got a message in Russian and since I don't speak Russian I just made up a language with random words from Norwegian and German. Boy that was fun.
-
@Fast-Nop you forgot to use the imperial measurement system for the truck. The US are not complete without their stupid measuring system
-
Same!
-
@koes use something else? That’s your advice? Seriously? The project is built with shopware, not anything else. And it does make a difference if you use Twig or Vue, because if you use Vue you don’t need Twig ;-)
-
@PonySlaystation that’s just crazy… give my company some more years and they will probably do the same
-
But wouldn’t the store closing in the evening terminate the loop?
-
@scor Germany has so many great dialects and sayings, that's really what I love about it. But I really laughed hard to just randomly read that here on devrant.
-
@scor true... but you don't necessarily need to change it when you can change your country haha :D
-
@scor Damn, I blew my cover with that Spax comment earlier :-D
Yeah Germany just sucks in so many ways and the "professional" working environment is super outdated. I think it will be better soon hehe :-) -
@JsonBoa thanks a lot! I met the team before and they seem really capable. Only two researchers and four devs :-) And it's a "good" university, so I guess (and hope) they know what they are doing. But as you said, that is never guaranteed!
-
Haha „Spax mal fest die Scheiße“. Richtig gut 🤣
-
Honestly it's crazy that so many devs face these issues :-(
-
@UnicornPoo thanks! It's really sad that there are companies like that. The worst part is they have been in the market for 20 years! Tells everything if you can't "outgrow" 15 employees over 20 years...
-
Haha, don't forget to rename your "rage-variables" kids. This is brilliant!
