@theprogrammer welcome to devrant! I’d rather not say where I work, the coworker may be in here as well. Also our hiring process has been really good in the past, this was a combination of we REALLY needed additional devs, and he was good enough to bullshit his way into the role. His coding test result wasn’t at the level we would have wanted for his position. Hopefully he learns quick and mature into his role. This bullshit isn’t sustainable long term.
