Turned out to be a specific issue, it was just not presented that way lol

Depending how old the laptop is the thermal paste may have dried out switch would cause it to run hot. Also a good clean out of dust in the laptop is always a good thing.
Some laptops have vents on the bottom so elevating the laptop with pencils or something may make a difference...
I plan to get the LG multi monitor, I'll post my new setup once I do, until then I have this: -
I've done this... My coworker freaked because she thought I deleted all her files (that she stores on the desktop) but I simply moved them to her user folder LOL
-
They'll probably plug it into a school computer anyway
-
Sadly very common
-
How about swipe left to read and swipe right to go back to feed. Similar to flipboard
-
That explains SharePoint correlation id's
-
Our VP forwarded the email with link working to while company saying "don't click on the link in the email below as it's a virus". It was actually a link to a malware site that we quickly blocked in our firewall. Wonder how many opened it at home...
-

would have been funny if the bakery didn't have a public bathroom...
if I was an intern I would have done the same just to hang out at the bakery for a while -
@Oceas surface pro, use it for one note
-
Yeah I'm still waiting on source code from vendor for website that we are supposed to support internally, they're never gonna give it because they want to charge for support
-
or by rolling back an update
-
ah pre-trello organization
-
@Jumpshot44 I miss MySQL, I'm in a Microsoft everything environment now :/
-
I have two dell for Windows PC and an old iMac... iMac just has browsers open
Synergy-project made life easier -
@shittywebdev I have a degree and it only gives you a general foundation... the business knowledge you've built up and the products you've used can only really be learned with hands on experience
it doesn't hurt to research best practices and vendor recommendations tho... -
many companies offer certifications in their products (Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Oracle, etc...) they not only look nice on a resume but it's good to know how the product was indented to be utilized.
I'm currently trying to get my employer to pay for some of the MCSD sharepoint cert because no one in our department really understands it yet is our intranet :/ -
not the AOL icon and name? lol
-
@ambitious93 forgot the number in tag lol
-
@ambitious quick search from Google turned up this: http://noobtuts.com/unity/...
unity is fun to learn if you have a basic C# and 3D editor knowledge.
I took an AI course in college and it was the most interesting programming course I took. learning the state machine, path finding, flocking, goal system, etc... -
AI programming in Unity 3D can be a fun project. A classic is a tower defense game :-)
-
I could see myself forgetting this was there... then a user complaining what this new tab is :)
Really cool tho -
I know some ASPx VB programmers who only have the code on their machine, the webserver, and an external drive (however the external drive is at least a few months old)...
Same with FoxPro, what ever version is currently running in production is the only complete set source...
$ git commit -m 'automated batch' -
I actually liked using FoxPro for data file scripts. It's really good for handling fixed width columns...
It's just not supported or open source, so when MS comes out with some security patch that breaks it your out of luck.
