@gitpush like something different for all the holidays. Beer for St. Patrick's day. Tiny floating ghost for Halloween etc

I tried hearting this post and then realized that this isn't twitter

Got my text editor converting tabs to spaces like a boss. I just use the tab key, my editor handles the rest.
Can someone mark this as an accepted solution? -
@RantSomeWhere your code isn't Semantic enough. Your title has been revoked temporarily

@lotd looks like a human butt (and other body parts) xD
-
@mac-aga what kind of projects were they? Was it something that the company would be using in product?
-
My college will have no one left to teach then xD
-
I used to think so in college as well. But when I started working for companies, I saw that most don't even have time to properly teach their own staff, much less go out in colleges and build the next tech graduates
I'm very interested in a case study of a company who did that if you know of any! -
@ymas the framework they used has controllers. Writing the code in components and importing is a piece of cake too. You can more or less write the case and JS for a Component in the same file and do a lot of tricks using server side capabilities. All of these using the PHP framework they used but they made a mess of the codebase.

@Navigatr subscribers have a 1 hour cool down period
You can type your next post and then press the cross to keep the post saved as a draft that you can post later. So as max 2 posts that you can write simultaneously (one published, one in drafts) -
@ScribeOfGoD I was in a state of flow। - the thing that happens when everything just clicks for you when coding - but this time applied to ranting
-
@jAsE that is what happened!

Best MCU movie ever
WAKANDA FOREVERRR -
Well there is the use of varchar being used to store boolean values

The android Dev in my team is Gaga over Architectural Components. THAT IS THE FUTURE he says.
-
@bashleigh the junior devs could add a comment to disable forcing semi-colons in each file and be finally free
-
That's how I would do it
-
@C0D4 multiply by golden ratio if it involves design work
-
@Linux I use Ublock origin that blocks most of these analytics tool too. What do you use?
-
@heyheni tbh I am more interested in the underlying data than my manager. So I added hotjar and mixpanel on a low load day to see how they work. Removed mixpanel a month later then no one cared. Hotjar still does heatmap on some low activity pages.
All my manager cares about is how many people came on the platform today. Doesn't care for what they are actually doing.
No wonder our retention is shit -
@heyheni we do have hotjar too. I put it on because I wanted to see videos of people actually using the product
The management refuses to pay for it that means I have to manually delete all videos and restart it after every 100 recordings.
Also my manager only logged in once a few months back to and saw 2 videos. Never opened it again.
Similar experience with mixpanel. I set it up and built a funnel but my manager doesn't care about data. Only his "feeling" about what we should do -
Do people still write inline event handlers in 2018? That's so old school. Everyone should just use React. It is the future of JavaScript. (sarcasm)
-
@Linux thanks
I always went to profile
Hoping that would be where they would put edit username
