@teganburns @heyheni was right. You should use a 3D printer rather than a cnc machine. It'll be an unbelievably expensive project if you would like to make it with cnc milling. If you want it to be accurate, you have to find a CAD/CAM programmer to make the code and a 5 axis machine to make the product. And the body of your drone looks beautiful, but so many curves and shapes that would be extremely hard to make on a cnc machine. And I didn't talked about the finishing works, after the milling procedure. To make the surface perfect. Sorry... :/
-
@teganburns The answer to your question is hard. Depends on what you need. If that's an easy thing, you can ask someone on a forum to make it for you for some cash. If that is a difficult product, you'll need to have a CAD/CAM programmer to make the proper program, but this is expensive, cos in that case if she/he cant machine the product for you, he'll have to make a posprocessor for the machine it'll be made... so it's complicated. You know what? Let me see what you need and than we'll try to figure it out, how it could be made easy. :)
-
@teganburns My motivation has two basic points. The first is that, I really enjoy to make programs. I know some python, javascript and htmlcssbootstrap also. The reason why I defenetly can not be a front end developer is the total ignorance of a beauty of a website :D I have no fantasy for that and don't care the colors and animations it uses. But to make an 'engine' to something... I would love it... The second point of my choice to be a developer is a bit more practical. I want to be independent. I'm Hungarian, but living in the Netherlands. There will be a point in my life (maybe sooner than later), when I'll need to go back to my country, but I don't want to be a part of the system there. So, my plan is to take a remote job in a western European country. These two are my basic reasons. :)
-
As a hungarian: youre welcome! :D
-
@luc- Thanks!
-
@polaroidkidd I will have a look. Thanks for the tip. Now I can think about it again :D
-
@luc- The site would be nice to read. I would be thankful. :)
-
@polaroidkidd Don't destroy my last pieces of faith please! :D I really hope you only had a bad luck. I've read a few articles and seen a few videos, but all of 'em loved these hardwares. Anybody else? Some experiences?
-
@linuxxx If that is true, you and your 'medewerkers' makes me mad :D
-
@Cyanite Thats true, but that isn't only for desktops?
-
@antonis179 Good to know. Thanks! :) But they lost me anyway :D
-
@Cyanite Clevo laptops. Those are rebranded and has many names. Comes without logos or anything if it's not rebranded yet. It has a pretty decent price and (as I read) good quality.
-
@antonis179 I've directly asked about that and he said it'll loose the warranty. Whatever. Just search for the closest Clevo laptop reseller (online) and make your own machine!
-
As a hungarian, I'm living in the netherlands too :D It's awesome, I've got the freedom and life i wished for in hungary. :) Thank's for all duthies for this! :)
-
I would give soo much for this feeling. :D
-
Which is THE text editor?
-
@Hakash I understand it, and for me it's really interesting and exciting. And I really respect you knowledge. I just tried to put myself to the point of an "outsider". :)
-
@Hakash Ok, nice. How you'll explain it to a non it guy? I mean his answer would be something like this: "they've encrypted it, they can decrypt it". And from this point if you try to explain it, he/she won't understand it. They don't even want to. Maybe I've not right. But this is my... guess... (idunno which word should comes here :D not native)
-
I guess the people has problem with clouds in a particular case. I've tried to explain it a non IT-ish guy, but at the end he still didn't wantted to use it. He tought somebody will steal his data. And Obviously I understood him, cos you'll never know. When I use it I have no confidence about the security of my data, just the blind faith. And it makes frustration. Even if you have no secrets. The peoples don't trust in big companys, cos they always wanted to earn money. And everybody know, there is no free meal. But nobody knows what is the price they'll pay for this. So, after all, i go and delete my dropbox account :D (just kidding)
-
@Grumpy ok, got it and I partly understand it. But nobody asked nobody to work for free. I mean even the fsf pays an acceptable salary to their programmers. Why anyone else wouldn't? When I statisfied with the operating system I use I pay them a price I can. No, it isn't that much I suppose to pay for a windows licence. But I strongly belive in free software. If I would make my money as a programmer, I would defenetly pay to debian each year, cos I want to support them cos I like what they do and I would use their system daily and their work helps me to pay my bills. I would have a fix precentage of my yearly budget to support theese kind of programs. Thats my opinion. I would rather pay 100$ yearly for ten years to use debian than pay whatever amount for windows once. Sorry, but I don't like the way things work. I would defenetly do it on another way.
-
@Grumpy Ok, but than I don't get it,how the prices came in.
-
@Grumpy Free software is not free as a free beer but free as in freedom. You can buy free programs, or you can use them without price and donate some money to the programmers. Free programs are free cos if you use them, you have the 4 essential freedom. Freedom 0: The freedom to run the program as you wish, for any purpose. Freedom 1: The freedom to study how the program works, and change it so it does your computing as you wish. Access to the source code is a precondition for this. Freedom 2: The freedom to redistribute copies so you can help your neighbor. Freedom 3: The freedom to distribute copies of your modified versions to others. By doing this you can give the whole community a chance to benefit from your changes. Access to the source code is a precondition for this. ( Source: https://gnu.org/philosophy/... )

@mattou07 It isn't goes directly to you, but every hungarian fellas. Or anybody else, who likes our country
-
Hi hun bro! :) Jo latni, hogy tobben vagyunk :)
-
Please light up my brain friends, cos I don't get it. Why one of 'em is better than the other one? I've read it a couple of times that everybody has their own opinion and thinks if somebody use the other style is defenetly a horrible person/programmer. But nobody explain it why and why does it even matter. Please help me out!
-
@Jumpshot44 Thanks! :)
-
I wanted to use eclipse. But then it turns out, my machine can't run windows, cos I have serious issues day-by-day with that (my laptop is old and weak tbh). So i've started to use linux. Ubuntu. It still have some issues, but have some issues, but eclipse don't run "smoothly" on linux. So, i've used notepad. For about 20mins :D Then tried out geany. Loved it. But a few months ago, I've installed a pure debian. With some help I've made some good settings, bought an ssd and start to learn emacs. Now I use geany and emacs. I fell love with emas, cos it is really productive. But need to learn a lot yet :D so I'm almost a member the curch of emacs (Richard Stallman is our saint :D) and use geany, if I feel I have to change to it. Btw I just learning yet, I'm not a real developer.
-
@Jase the name doesn't matter to me, cos it is my default search engine. :)
-
@haabe yeah, it could be even my mistake. Cos I just learning to programming yet, so at the beginning i used to looking for those sites, but now I'm looking for more accurate info.
-
Interestinly, I have the same feeling, but about google. When I try to find something, it more often lead me to sites (ok, maybe not spam) which are contains less useful and less accurate information.
