I'm Dutch but I've always lived in France (dutch parents). However, due to political reasons, I'm wondering about going to live in another country later on. How's politics going in the Netherlands? Is there also a strong right racist/homophobic/money-driven party, or does it look right in terms of respect of individuals' privacy, freedom, etc..?

As a hungarian, I'm living in the netherlands too :D It's awesome, I've got the freedom and life i wished for in hungary. :) Thank's for all duthies for this! :)

I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and when I travelled to North Holland it was so shocking how much it felt like home. I mean, I know Manhattan was once New Amsterdam, but there's a difference between reading about it and then flying thousands of miles away and seeing that.
