Heroku allows you to deploy your webapp from Dropbox...

THIS IS NOT SOMETHING WE SHOULD ENCOURAGE!

    What's the problem? AFAIK Dropbox has version control.

    For some people it's Dropbox where they upload final_final_works_3.zip and consider this a version control.

    @ejmin haha. Then we should be preventing those people from using heroku 😅

    They probably didn't come up with this themselves... They probably had an a-hole client all "well Jared copies the project from his laptop to a memory stick and I upload it to my Dropbox account... It's so simple, if you can't make that work you must not be that good"

    I did a quick dig around the net... So far the only use case I can see presented is "I update my blog on the go", which made me sad inside.

    Also heroku's launch article started with 2 paragraphs of "we're serious guys" preamble.
