My friend brought me this, saying "I just found this in my junks, thought it might be useful for you. Weren't you a programmer?"

At first I thought I should explain about how fast everything changes over here and how it is out of style to talk about 2000s technologies, let alone a book from 1973!
I just said "Thanks! In fact it is a precious antique. I'll add it to my collection."
It really is.

    Reminds me of a book my mom had to read in school about robotics. It was about super amazing modern robots that could see basic shapes with just a few vacuum tubes, and storing data in strange contraptions involving speakers and quicksilver tubes or something...

    @saintograph thank you, oc I want it. I just wonder why ppl with no programming background don't understand how fast changes happen in IT, despite it also changes their everyday lives similarly.
