for OSX users: please comment with the top 3 reasons of why do you prefer it over Windows and Linux. Thanks a lot.

I prefer it over Windows because it has bash built right in. I prefer it over Linux because it actually has programs I use, such as Photoshop.

@Trey actually, Windows 10 has bash now.. just enable the feature

Ofc. Linux has developers in mind too, but all Linux distros has horrible UI's

The whole UX is pretty cool.

Generally:
- touchpad to die for
- magsafe on the older ones
- bash

Use Debian for my primary dev VM but as all Linux distros it could benefit from some usability professionals in the team.

- Does not crash on you (like linux)
- Does not force update and download in background (like windows)
- light UI (unlike Windows)
- TRACK PAD!
- Full screen mode (unlike windows and linux)

(Mac specific pro) oh and knowing you can try and install any OS out there in VM (OSX, Windows, Linux/Unix distros) and they will work just fine!

@iakar I'll agree that stability is really good. I have one machine who must be 7+ yeast old. Never reinstalled and didn't start to act up until I upgraded the OS to versions that was a bit to much to handle. It still runs but is a bit slow to start stuff. Using a Windows machine without reinstalling for that long and upgrading the OS a few times... no thanks.

The biggest con for enterprise environments is that Mac OS x only updates its latest version mostly. Microsoft continues to support their OS for many, many, many years.
