Last time I had the honour, I tried imagining the high-feel that the anesthesia gave me.
Didn't work and I just used a fuckton of painkillers. Ibu does the trick.

Brought back memories of my very first post recovery. I was 12 and had my nasal polyps removed (it's something benign that grows inside your nose) and the doctor/s didn't do a good job of cleaning me up so I had dried up blood on my teeth. Back in my room, I got up, tried to brush my teeth and passed out. Next thing I knew, I was back in bed and the nurses told me what happened. The End.
