Heey guys, what's a normal price for a website?

    It depends greatly on the person doing it. Some offer fixed fees based on requirements and others charge an hourly rate.

    I live in the Netherlands but Europe should be fine. And the website is small like max 7 pages. I use my own cms for it.

    @g-m-f well not much as an example the last website I made is: allinshortlease.nl. It's simple it gets car from data base on home screen and on the detail page from the cars. But it's a simple website.

    @g-m-f I would work 1 week for that but I have no clue to how much one hour of my time costs.

    if you have your own cms as u claimed, then it should be straight forward implementation. estimate your delivery in hours and try to commit to that deadline. the rate however, i wouldnt know for Netherlands.
    for fairness and to help you with that, assume a monthly salary for yourself if you were to work 8 hours a day & 5 days a week. your hourly rate would be: (X is your assumed salary)
    X / 21 working days / 8 hours = rough estimate of your hourly rate

    @Sakuyu Oh my apologies, what do you think your effort is worth and that is how much you charge.

    I would also advice you write up a contract to cover yourself.

    @amjo Yeah that's as far as I came. But I have no clue how much to ask per hour. Well hopefully someone else knows
