Why the fuck did my Chrome devtools just get a blue accent everywhere?!

it perplexes me why dev tools try to have fancy design, the actual content is cool as shit. All you need is legible fonts and enough separators and background colour steps to guide the eye.

I said the exact same thing. It’s so ugly.

I think a recent update brought that. Played around a bit, but haven't found a way to completely disable it. It follows the theme in Chrome though, so if you select a more neutral one, it will look close to what it used to look like.

Because the Google UI engineers are contract-bound to implement SOME change every six months, no matter what it is, or they lose their jobs.
