you're reminding me how my family would view the average people as peasants. should I be viewing everyone like that? I'm still in my rebellious phase from how dehumanizing that was. but you guys sure are making a good point for how worthless peasants are.

@jestdotty dehumanizing the average person will create ire and contempt on both sides of the equation. This will crescendo over time resulting in outbursts of violence. The world is on its way to experiencing this phenomenon. Except it will be global. The haves and have nots are polarizing ever increasingly on a daily basis. I don't know if this can be avoided. We have a ruling class around the world that is actively trying to murder the masses. The masses are becoming more aware of this everyday. It will not end well except for some kind of miracle. If it destabilizes the infrastructure and economies enough there will be mass starvation. Probably global conflict. People are probably 3 meals away from chaos. People who display their wealth will be the first targets.

@jestdotty btw, I struggle with the dehumanizing phenomenon. I learn things about different cultures and some religious beliefs and often think extermination would be an option. There are places in the world that I think glassification by nuclear means would benefit the whole world spiritually and physically. I think this is the nature of man and our struggles with our own value systems. Do we really believe in caring and loving for our neighbors? Some days I do, some days I don't. Some days I want to be Hitler.

@jestdotty I am watching through the internet the self destruction of whole cities in the USA. It saddens me greatly to see how much these people are hurting. The biggest sad part is it is largely self inflicted. People robbing stores and vandalizing. Then wondering why other businesses start shutting doors. Loss of jobs, places to shop, etc. The whole community gets damaged by the actions of a few people. Right now it is certain neighborhoods, but that shit is going to spread.

Assigning labels to people is dehumanizing. That is the whole purpose of labels. Assign people to categories so we can justify a certain type of treatment. I suppose on some level we do it to clear our conscious of being kind to people we don't like. It probably works the other way to. I guess labels are like assigning stations.

That gives me an idea. @jestdotty shall be known as "her highness". @kaneywest shall be the "fuhrer".

I come here to have fun and occasional interesting political subjects crop up. This one has been fun in a way.

If you are interested in the holocaust. Then maybe compare and contrast the dehumanization of the Jews to the dehumanization of Western Culture. There have also been more than a few holocaust survivors that have spoken out about this. White men are bad now.

Problem is, people like him contribute to spreading ugly stuff. You don’t see the consequences right away.
