    if you make the error friendly you dont have to fix it - Microsoft focus groups prime finding

    Your firewall's blocking it, isn't it

    @kamen Microsoft’s ineptitude is blocking it. 😁

    While you’re there, check out the app I just put there (passed cert this afternoon!)

    OfflineLocker :)

    @AlgoRythm Just out of curiosity Do you need the "Use all system resources" permission? Kinda raises a red flag when applied to an offline password manager.

    @mrgadget I don’t. My app doesn’t need any permission.

    It’s built using WinUI 3, which requires runFullTrust by default and won’t compile without it :(

    Same thing with electron apps.

    It’s because these apps don’t conform to the UWP-style app sandbox, and instead run as regular desktop apps. Which is strange to me, because WinUI 3 is literally built on the Windows App SDK.

    @mrgadget see, this is why i dont let microsoft know it's microsoft. The decision i made as a kid to start drastically modifying windows OSes because the new version of mspaint didnt let me make custom brush/eraser sizes with + or - keys, continues being proven as extremely valid.

    My windows only knows the info i give it... massively complex registry modifications and i get to update my sandbox-esq protocols for windows services a few times a year... but posts like this remind me how well worth it my troubles are.

    @awesomeest Ctrl + "Numpad Plus" and Ctrl + "Numpad Minus" does change brush/eraser size

    @Pogromist that's not the point... it used to be just + or - and go to any size. When it changed it annoyed me, along with other changes that, alone, wouldn't be enough of a justification for me to play frankenstein with Windows.

    @Pogromist side thought... how old r u even? Cuz i didnt mention what year or what version of windows so you may be thinking of something that totally doesnt apply
