When you wake up, notice your phone fell off the bed (my bed is about 180cm high), don't have google services to locate it/make it ring etc so you log into one of your domain name providers because you've got 2FA enabled there and you might hear the text notification sounds xD.

(in the end, I just had to clean my room partly in order to find it again :/)

    I'm confused..u drop your phone in bed... Then it would be on the floor... On the top of anything you might have there?

    Why is your bed 6 feet tall? 🤔
  • 2
    @MrMeeseeks Because my desk is under it and otherwise it would be crushed :P

    @linuxxx Ohhh you have one of those setups. Okay, that makes a lot more sense!

    I thought you just had like a giant bed frame or something lol

    Write your own locator?

    @Root and then write your own push notification services, but you can write also your own location services and while you are at it you can write your own Linuxxx services, build your own phone OS based on Linux and create your own search engine. Then start tracking and selling data of billions and billions people all over the world.

    @CopyPasteCode
    Receive text message
    -> parse text message
    -> look for "@locate:alarm"
    -> set max ring volume
    -> sound ringtone

    :%s/text message/packet/

    Wow, so hard. Totally had to rewrite everything from the OS up to accomplish that. Much effort. 😞😧
