cursee165837yThey are. I think information of your portfolio is the only thing matter for a portfolio website. Most of them will awe you with the graphic, elements, transition effects and the likes. But not much info when I read each portfolio. In the link you gave, I clicked on one of the portfolio and all I got is 1 image and this.

cursee165837y@CurseMeSlowly what did you do? What issues did you solve? What solution did you create? Which tools did you use?
Those are the things I want to know more. 🤔 -
Serious talk, am i the only one who has issues with react sites? Like facebook is slow as fuck and this one too.
If you wanna see a cv with absolutely zero effort, check out mine in my bio -
theuser47657y@CurseMeSlowly Yes, I can probably imagine the guys working as recruiters begging for the next portfolio not to be like the previous one.

gregjs17yAgencies eat that shit up though. I know for a fact that people at my office - especially the directors and the designers - would fall over themselves trying to hire that dude. My point is, generally speaking we devs have our own preferences and ideas about what a website should be like, but those preferences and ideas often differ from those of the people we have to work with/for.

cursee165837y@gregjs got your point. To an average people, those are "such wow, much design, amaaaazing" 😂
I'm currently duckduckgoing "top 10 portfolio designs" and stuff like that because I'm looking to create something myself and learn some React along the way, but at lot of these pages seem so tryhard and self pretentious.
