I use Miui 9, I guess they also force the splitting under the hull.

@LeFlawk what I really like about bspwm is it's lightweight, have good keybooard shortcut for resizing window, predefined size for opening window. I don't really know about i3, maybe it also can do those things. oh and bspwm does not have builtin bar

@NoMad might different from phone to phone. Try setting "force resizable views" in developer options. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy s8

Forced the activity to resize, got a toast staying the app won't work when resized
I can scroll the current thread but that's about it. Even when back in fullscreen mode nothing worked. Had to restart the app

To clarify, I use the miui eu 9.1 7.11.30 (weekly) rom on my Mi5s Plus. I haven't found any app that did not work :o

@Emphiliis actually the comment buttons only works when it is in the bottom split for me. When DevRant is in the top split the button doesn't work.

@NoMad have to reboot first after setting force split option before it works.
