Question: what do you think of Flutter? Ever tried it? It sounds good so far, although it has limmited support (as far as I can tell)

    At first I thought we were talking about the hand gesture recognition software 😄

    @No-one it doesn't need "the bridge". The logic is in dart, which basically is c++ and it reuses featjres from chrome and android for text and image rendering. For images it directly uses the gpu. So it basically is native code that "get's rendered on a canvas". So the advantage over react native (as far as I understood it), is that it doesn't have the ressource limitation of having stuff in native and javascript code.

    Oh and it seams to have a true open source licence

    @No-one "MIT" there's still some clauses in there that aren't trully open source. You can use it as long as you're not suing or competing facebook, kind of. Which should be the majority of cases, but still it's not true open source.
