I'm just so fed up with these constant updates and changes in the tech world. Can't we just stick to one thing for more than five minutes without it becoming obsolete! It's insane, makes me want to punch a wall am I right?

Switch from web dev to literally any other kind of software development. Problem solved.

jep, let's stick with the internet explorer 6 feature set and stick with that.

    reject progress.

Well C# and vanilla js/css/html are going to be around for a good while yet.

The latest head-up-your-arse front end framework, not so much.

Depend on other people's stuff if and only if it's going to be less trouble than making your own.

but how can you justify all that funding unless you remind people of your importance every few days which adds nothing but bloat and reinventing the same thing over and over again

if you don't build it right the first time, you can get audience exposure hundreds of times!

You get it! I hate when all these big companies try to scam us with new updates 24/7. Nice try apple but we see right through you...

Change happens, get with the times chump! It’s necessary for the evolution of humanity. I understand it’s hard to accept it with the wicked ways current companies use it to their advantage to manipulate the masses, and put individuals like us down, but we can use it for good. Along with help others in the future lol.

@DeezBugs bold of you to assume all updates are an evolution and not a devolution

I get angry with games because you can't select specific versions of them to download via steam (least last time I looked). they put in micro transactions and shit. yeah better for them I guess.

True of webdev certainly. But it doesn’t affect me. I keep up with PHP and CSS developments so I can take advantage of them. All this other shit is totally a waste of time and effort. I use javascript sparingly and never touch frameworks as they cause more problems than they solve. This has been a great formula and keeps me (self) employed with fast well constructed websites that are easy to maintain and develop over many years. Never bothered with the css preprocesses, just another layer of shite, and they are dead now as css can do that in the main.

@jestdotty You have a great point, neither me or the @superangrydev are necessarily correct though. I guess it’s just good to accept change, but certainly a valid choice to also dislike it when it’s having a negative impact.
