Why did suddenly all websites start putting recaptcha in front of every user submission? Have they not heard of request limiting? I'm so tired of having to identify bridges, store fronts, cars, and unicorns before being able to do ANYTHING on the internet. For fuck's sake.

    Using botnets you can over come limits and even with limits its irritating having to moderate.

    Just install anti-captcha chrome extension. Helps people in low income countries pay their bills as a nice side effect.

    I can understand a captcha before a form submission but I have been selecting trees and mountains and street marks even when I visit a documentation website. Yep, my favorite laravel documentation website. It asks me every day, every time. 😑

    Sometimes I think google is just using us to debug their street map algorithm or training their AI 😓

    @CurseMeSlowly That is what they use it for. Same idea as old captchas. People helped to digitalise old books by recognising words in scanned documents.

    I sometimes have the "click all bikinis" recaptcha which isnt to bad xD
