Any devRanters fancy working together on a passion project. From conception to completion? Would love to work with others on open source or even a commercial project? Anyone interested?

I'd love to, but got a bit to much on my plate at the moment 😅

Well doesn't need to be any time soon, but if there's lots of us hat are interested it could be fun!

    Sounds like a plan 😁

It is a great idea. We each have strengths and successes we can contribute.

Maybe we need a tag we can use for future posts regarding projects. Thoughts?

Any ideas I'd be up for a community project.

I'd be interested if the project connected with my interest or helped people. Also it would need to be in the realm of technology I'm using. I guess we'd need a PM... Probably won't find many of those here. :P

It would be interesting to see how a fellow Dev does as a PM though

We'd probably learn PMing isn't as easy as we make it out to be. 😜

I don't think it's particularly rocket science though. One of the best PM's I worked under would quite often take us to the pub after work.

Considering this is Dev rant, I'd love some kind of stress relief game sort of in the vein of Office Space.

... A dev burning out and going out against the management, BA's, stupid users, etc...

I am up for it ... how about creating a subreddit for it

    Obviously we'll do it in brainf*ck 😂

I made a game like that once. It was called 9 to 5 and was all about going through the day performing little frustrating mundane activities trying not to go crazy and murder anyone.

I'd love to get involved in something for sure, a grand idea that makes the world a better place in some way or another..!

When we get a devRant public api then we could make a game out of it 😉

I'd love to work on a game! I seem to be incapable of coming up with the idea for a game, but have been dying to make one.

If we want to actually see this through then we need to break the conversation out of DevRant. So I started a slack team (boredgames.slack.com).

The idea is to give everyone who is interested a week to sign up and then next Sunday (5/8/16), I'll announce a meeting time that we can all get on slack together and discuss in real time.

If you are interested, send me your email address and I will add you. It would probably be beneficial to also list your Dev strengths and weaknesses.
