@shovethisrant I just want a hat to keep sun out of my face. Maybe sleep next to a tree or something too. I could do a ball cap, but it seems less nice. I don't really want a western style, but I want to look a bit better in general. Some of my pants and clothes are not so great. I want my own style I guess.

@Demolishun yeah they work nicely. I like the woven wide brimmed African hats some people make and bring over to the US to sell at like art fairs and such. Mine has lasted for like 10 years, it's nice and breathable, and I can reshape it into anything if I dunk it in water.

Decided I wanted a western style hat to wear. I sized my head and I found it was XXL. Most of the hats I looked at only went up to L or XL. Do people who work cowboy type jobs have smaller heads typically? I also found Stetsons always had the option for larger heads. Maybe it is just a general market availability thing.
