@Andi I have had some conversations with people here, but it's kinda odd to ask more personal stuff (not name, phone number etc. But more like other hobbies) since everything here is public.
I like to meet new people, that's all

Some people might use it but in the end it would be a lot of work (and increase the app size) for nothing. If two persons want to chat together they just need to exchange their handles on their favourite platform.

@Jilano that's true, but some might be uncomfortable posting their handles in public like that.

@FinlayDaG33k Agreed, it all depends on the person. But in any case, it's always possible to create a random chatroom or even join an IRC channel to then proceed to he exchange.

I think devRant is better off without a private chat system. We can always use signal or discord after all.

Pretty sure that private chats are somewhere in the devRant roadmap
