    yeah tnw...
    Don't you think too that tnw has gotten boring and the quality of their article decreases.

    it's like they outsourced their journalists from amsterdam to india.

    😒

    @heyheni
    Like many other "linux newspapers" on fb.
    It has turned to crap

    @J-2FA
    Lifetime for only $45!

    @J-2FA yeah sadly
    they were once (3 years ago) the most informative & educational tech news i've known.
    They've had specials about online marketing, design & dev and were very community conscious. Then they redesigned the website, changed the logo, did a survey about the future of tnw. Some journalist went. And today it feels like they just copy&pasting press releases and sell some half assed promotions as you said.

    😕 any alternatives?

    I too find out about devRant from the TNW article! Also, I too think that the quality of TNW articles isn't what it used to be :/

    We don’t really have a list but I know there’s a number of people who signed up around the first day the app was released publicly - @nblackburn comes to mind, and probably a few others, but that’s just from the first day (we were featured in Product Hunt ).

    The TNW article was a few months later.

    Here’s a fun-fact: I looked back in our emails - @nblackburn was the second devRant user ever to request stickers. Thousands of requests later, it’s pretty cool to look back and see that.

    @ssdd doesn’t post much but is still around I think, just looking back at first day signups who also requested stickers the first couple of days.

    TNW article got us some great early exposure, that writer was a user and a cool guy, he was all for writing more about us, but then he left TNW :/

    @dfox I’m still here. Had a few months off as I was getting a bit stressed and some of the comments / themes on here were annoying me.

    Proud to be a launch day member.
