Had a someone ask me if I was a "real dev". How would you define a real dev

For real though? If you've worked a dev job you've gotten paid for, particularly if your work had to pass some kind of a review process.

Things have been pretty good. My partner of three years left maybe four months ago (in a very inconsiderate manner), so I was playing catch up for a while. I'm pretty much all caught up now, though. I'm working on interesting projects at work, I'm still working on my poetry generator at home, and my social life is doing pretty well. Overall, life's been pretty good, despite some setbacks. Also, I learned that building furniture is an excellent coping mechanism.

@starless Good that you're back on your feet again and oh well, everyone their own thingies :)

I've got my security blog now, am the biggest user (quite the achievement for me although I'm not sure if you were around when that happened :P), professional linuxer and that's it I guess. Only missing a girlfriend :P
