The app itself works very well and its nice but it shouldn't advertise itself as a 'secure' and good for privacy messaging app when it uses it's own broken crypto and doesn't do anything to hide metadata, nope for me.

@linuxxx like I've written in the tags of the rant, fuck the metadata, if I need it for something like a public group it's the best choice for me

@HAlex True! I just think that a service which advertises itself as a privacy/security friendly one while being everything *but* that should cease to exist.

Threema is even better and more secure than telegram...

@PonySlaystation I'll believe that the second Threema opens up their code and it shows that its true.

It's a closed source app meaning I'll treat it like whatsapp/fb/google - staying away from it ;)
