@jestdotty That's the joke, online multiplayer gaming is basically unplayable with all the cheating going on. I've seen everything from "wall hacks" to "Aim Bots" and "invisibility" in call of Duty and that's on a console.

Who said you have to be positive? Life is fucking difficult sometimes, if people don't understand that, don't have them around you, it's their loss!

@tosensei I was kinda done playing Halo after 1 & 2. Then just watched all the cut scenes on youtube for the rest of the story.

Getting difficulty right in games is a tough science.

It's easy to just artificially inflate difficulty just by number tuning, but that has the theoretical limit of oneshotting.

Sure, you can git better, but unless encounter length and respawn cost is carefully tuned, oneshotting will only cause frustration.

That said, I have nothing against "give me story" modes if they mean more people enjoy the game, but damn I want a fucking challenge.

It's my main gripe with black myth wukong nowadays, no difficulties, and as a souls like veteran, I'm finding it terribly easy unless I deliberately gimp myself.
