It's about "butterfly" being a nice sounding word in English and other languages (e.g. French), but in German it sounds really aggressive: SCHMETTERLING!!!

Don't know why but our language seems to sound kinda aggressive to non native speakers :D

and you gotta stick to saying basic stuff, helps pertaining the language and manage to mumble other things :)
