    @antigermgerm Okay, it's all chill, you're going through some stuff, we've all been there!

    Put the white flag away! lol

    @bazmd well these fucks sortof took us by surprise. We had built bigass forts with DCA and stuff and all and these sneaky bastards attacked us with gliders and vacuumbomb.

    They didnt fight fair. We were neutral.

    Well, to be fair, you only had the Chasseurs ardennais against the whole army group A with 3 fucking panzer divisions at Martelange.

    They resisted admirably, but they had no chance whatsoever.

    What's fun is that the Belgian actually foresaw von Manstein's plan all along, but high command dismissed them.

    The glider para troops attack only served, in fact, to doom the chasseurs, since they destroyed comm lines from Neufchâteau, so that the retreat order never arrived, and thus they held the border to the last man. Barely 40 men against a whole army. Résiste et mords, and resist they did.

    @CoreFusionX yeah if only france had extended the maginot line to dunkirk instead of relying on us to do the dirty job

    @retoor? When do you think it's the best time to attack Belgium?

    I think the best time is around 10am after their third can of beer.
  • 2
    @antigerm22 straight before they eat their daily croissant so we can take that from them too

    @antigerm22

    France could not extend the Maginot line in foreign ground.

    It was Belgium itself that denied the idea because they thought themselves safe back then.

    @CoreFusionX they could have fortified their side of the belgian-french border.

    @antigerm22

    Why would they? Germany was their enemy, not Belgium...

    @CoreFusionX we should have invaded france while they were waiting for the germans and then use them to invade germany. Then re-establih the glorious sovietic princebishopship of Liege.
