We're looking to change the domain provider we use to register new client's domains to one that has an API.
So far it looks like it'll either be namecheap or AWS's Route 53.
We're also looking for the same thing with mail inboxes.

Do you have any recommendations / experience with either of these?

I was hoping to find a solution that would provide both the domain registration and the mailboxes with no hosting and accessible via API but I've had no such luck.
(Except for maybe two, but neither looked up to date)

    @linuxxx can probably be of great help here.

    I'd say namecheap if they provide an API as well!

    @linuxxx thanks :)

    Yeah, namecheap has an API, but not for email accounts unless you're using their hosting service too (or at least that's what I understood)

    @guio Except for this idk much about them tbh, i just have three domains with them :) (@Linux get your ass over here)

    @guio
    Well, why do you want to use the API for email on a registrar if you dont want to use the hosting?

    @Linux Well, we handle the hosting internally, but offer a domain and email accounts for our clients

    @guio
    Then you do not need an api for the emails accounts on the registrar.

    @Linux right, it looks like we're going to use different services for the domain registration and the mailbox tinkering.

    @guio
    Well, you have to if you are hosting the emailserver yourself :)
    Check out iRedmail, I dont know if it has an API but it is solid anyway
