For our business we are paying the highest plan the ISP provides (240 mbps) but we get 110 kb/s. Wtf!! You write them, they answer “give your address”, done, “we doesn’t see any problems”, calls a friend that also uses Telenet, “do you have problems”, “yes, no internet”. What de F*** is wrong?? It’s nearly a month like that!! They really need to do something!!

    Their answer: “there are no problems in your city, nor your modem...” It’s in dutch on image.

    Once I heard dude unplugged modem, called support, told them modem is online. Support saw modem is offline and sent tech guy.

    And then they blame it on your router...

    Set up a cron to run a speed test and email them a screenshot of it every day at 2am and 2pm (low and peak times).

    Might get their attention.
    If not, leave.
    Really, you should have left a month ago.

    @Root I setup a PI to speedtest every 15 minutes and save the results in Google docs.

    @Root thanks for the idea!

    @Dacexi I will try with PI too!

    Most of the time they over loaded your are network and the first line guys don't have a way of knowing this.
    Ask for a technician, the unplugged modem method mentioned is a damn good idea.

    Also, have you tried an mtr? Should give you and the technician an idea of where the problem is

    @eliott Strange, you've get the latest Telenet modem? If not you can call them and say the modem runs really hot and sometimes does a random reboot, they'll give you a new one, worked for me :)
