Unless you are super comfortable with using the command line. Try using Server Pilot with Digital Ocean. The two work together well!

I was a digital ocean customer for the past 4 years or so but I've recently switch over to AWS. I have no complaints about DO, though. It's just that AWS is free (for a year) and I realised that security on a Linux box is best left up to people who know what they're doing.

@uziiuzair I think (I work with marketing) that the way they make money is using a business model based on people who buy, but will never use or will use and after some time will just leave it. They buy attracted by the low price. Impulse Purchase. This is one theory of what is their business model. I already thought about the same you asked. :-)

@felipebhz that's an interesting marketing strategy hahahaha. I guess I should buy one of their larger servers and actually start using it to host one of my sites 😂😂

@uziiuzair yes, many companies use that strategy. Haha :) I have two VPS with them. Just simple ones to test things out. Very cheap btw.
