    Just more of your excellent quality textual content!

    Is the blog public? If so what's the link?

    (I've seen several rants about it, but never seen it.)

    Post sorting! 😝

    And brighter text colors in dark theme for captions, lists and navigation.

    @Forside Yeah, new one is much-security-such-privacy.info ;)
  • 2
    @Forside They both work though!

    Windows spying, CPU vulnerability, or maybe what https really means (basic knowledge, but some people still don’t know it)

    @RedBorg I'm more talking about website features :). The content will come a lot more regularly after I've moved!

    a lil suit as menu button maybe 😂
  • 2
    @linuxxx do you also have a Facebook/Twitter where you post security related stuff?
  • 2
    @SnuKies i dont think so.. too less privacy for him
  • 3
    @jakobev I just read his blog and I totally agree with you
  • 1
    @ewpratten I don't think those need fixing :)
  • 1
    @SnuKies I have a long forgotten Twitter account and I block Facebook from my entire laptop due to privacy reasons :)

    @linuxxx can we have a post on how to protect yourself? Like maybe talk abt what meathods you use and the pros and cons?
  • 1
    How about securing your web apps?
  • 2
    @linuxxx that what @ewpratten said, would be nice. Im very interested too.
  • 2
    @ewpratten Going to build quite the setup in my new place so yeah good one.
    @CorruptComputer Good one!
    @potluck Don't agree myself so idk what to do yet haha

    Dark/light theme getting parameters, so that we can bookmark not only the site, but also the theme

    @cyberwalk3r the blog is more about privacy and how to protect your own, and security (while they're both important and work closely together) does not equal privacy

    Privacy is about protecting your personal data

    Security is preventing people from getting through your protection

    @incognito Doesn't that work already...?
  • 2
    Maybe include a window that shows the different things your browser tells about you.

    Just for the sake of having a bigger impact, pls

    @linuxxx I was really wondering something: how many years you spent on Linux?
    I am asking because you are an expert, and after 2 years on Linux, I can barely fix a problem on it.
  • 2
    @SnuKies I started around the age of 15, I'm closing in on the age of 23 now and I've nearly only used Linux since I started with it :)
  • 2
    @linuxxx wow... 2 years older than me.
    You learned security from College or self-education?
  • 3
    @SnuKies Self education, my study hardly taught anything about that :) (self taught linuxer as well)
  • 1
    @linuxxx so I have 5 more years to catch up with you.
    Let the race begin
  • 2
    @linuxxx I started around 15 too... a lot of my friends with wealthy parents had computers before me, but my dad had to work overtime to afford one. I think the reason I learned so much more than them was that for me it was the end of the fucking world If that computer didn’t work right. In his mind it was money lost if I messed something up and didn’t have it fixed before he got off work... I started dual-booting Linux so soon because windows 95 was almost always breaking, and this way it was clearly my dads fault when windows broke, for visiting... umm... those sites he liked to visit. Lol. Anyways, now I’m about to be 38, and my dad is still almost computer illiterate, but these days he runs Linux as well, mainly for its strong resistance to porn site malware. I don’t have to do those awkward fixes anymore where we both pretend like we don’t know what went wrong lol. Sorry for rambling, that’s what happens when you have ADD and overhear minor coincidental info... ;) :P

    @jAsE don't hack a poor Canadian website. Leave us alone. Hack the Americans.
