Linux you are just the perfect OS in all terms but please do something for gamers. I cant keep on switching laptops for work and playing dota. Hell even the keyboard layout is like way different in both.

    I'm not sure how to tell you this, but... it's not the fault of Linux that the games don't work.

    @Zaphod65 I know that its the fault of creators and lets not forget nvidia vs linux. But all I want to do is play dota and I cant keep on switching laptops just for this.

    @CWins I just want dota to run on linux (without wine & without it hogging on resources) smoothly. Thats all I am asking.

    So you didn't even check if it even was available on Linux? That the real problem here imo. Also, I think all Source-engine games are available on Linux. That includes CS:GO and a few other titles as well.

    Also, what's up with the keyboard layout thing? Keyboard layouts are specific to a language, not an OS. 🤔

    @olback the position of keys is different in both keyboards of both laptops.

    @Flygger popular games arent compatible with it with no fault of linux obviously. Just an observation.

    I wouldn't say Linux has perfect OS distributions but yeah it's mostly perfect
