webnoob11027y2 interviews with 2 companies each (for a total of 4), but contrary to most of my colleagues, I had significant experience from another technical background, so that probably helped.
Getting my first job in my initial !dev career of mechanical engineering took something like 11 interviews across 5 companies.
In my experience of interviews for jr positions, getting ahead is about being enthusiastic and showing that you're willing to learn. If you can get yourself in front of someone at a company and physically show them how hard you're willing to work, it multiplies your value to a company.
Keep grinding away my dude! Maintain a gung-ho attitude, and you'll score that first offer in no time. -
I never even had the chance to have a face to face interview with a technical person :(

Ezard19607y@Torbuntu Pretty much the same here haha
I applied to a whole bunch of companies, none of them replied, I got contacted by a local company, figured they were doing some interesting stuff, and here I am! -
I swear devrant is so helpful sometimes. I had an existensial crisis earlier today after messing up my third interview :D

webnoob11027y@L8NightScience not sure if you're saying 10 and 13 are terribly high numbers, but if so, I must point out that their persistence is something to be admired!
Guys, please share how many i interviews you had before scoring the first job?
I am currently a BSc in Software Engineering London and already hate the interview process due to all the aptitude and puzzle tests :D
