This kind of bullshit advertising is the reason everybody thinks we can do that every new whimp of the client within a few minutes.

Fuck off! Making real custom websites/apps takes time, planning, design, coding and testing. Its not just pressing a few buttons.

Translation: Make a website? 30 minutes.

    Well those click template generators indeed only take 30 minutes, though I agree it does give a wrong image to people that are new clients and then remember, "oh I saw that ad on the street.."

    I'm soon gonna leave Mijndomein, terrible service and soon yearly costs are gonna increase from 40 to 60...

    @jAsE I have had thousands of people searching my services, because they werent satisfied with how much they get charged by those clicky template hostings or hosting in general or how they want a design/function, but are limited by only the options the sites have, there is still a big market for us, we wont go anywhere, but they are clever and it was a huge change, that now literally, anybody with a computer or often even only a mobile phone, can get his website up and running, if he doesnt care anything else or doesnt get educated by someone - "you could have X and Y if we do your site differently" or "you're paying too much" - is for example a popular thing to say to acquire such clients, even if they are already hosted with someone else. They can try, but they cant catch the entire market. So I partially agree, but disagree.

    @MisterArie I work for a competitor and genuinely had people calling in asking why they'd go for us instead of mijndomein because 'there you can make a website in half an hour and the domains are so cheap!'

    I literally said something like 'well, go ahead then, go to mijndomein!'

    They all responded surprised for me saying that but honestly, if you're going to start a convo on the sales/support line like that, please go to another provider!
    With that mindset the chances are high that they'll go for the cheapest package and ask numerous support questions. (source: seeing that happening every fucking day)

    About the languages: being bilangual (Dutch-French), to me, English is a mixture of Dutch and French. It seems like for every Dutch word in English there's a French one as well. E.g. sheep (Dutch: schaap) and mouton (French: mouton). Or stool (Dutch: stoel, but same prononciation) and chair (French: chaise). The list is quite long...

    @FunkDelegate C'est l'histoire d'un mouton sur une chaise...
