Anyone rockin that new Vivaldi web browser?

I like it, but it's bug rich and there's no easy way to import chrome bookmarks. I'm too deeply integrated into chrome to make the switch yet.

@fatlard1993 I figured out how to import Chrome bookmarks. From the Start Page, go to the Bookmarks tab and there is an "Import" button. Pretty difficult to find.

That must be newer.. I did find the area you're talking about but it only had an option to import opera bookmarks. I will have to give it another shot. :)

it seems to be very cool, hardly it will replace my chrome experience, however ill give a try

@altermind cool thing is, it supports most Chrome Web Store extensions.

It also uses WebKit for rendering, and V8 for JavaScript processing. So it's legit.

@Treebasher I'm into web development, so how is the CSS rendering? Very cool the chrome extensions support...

@altermind so because it uses WebKit, it will render essentially the exact same as Safari and Chrome do.

Shouldn't cause you issues, but I'm curious if it does because I do some web dev on the side too! Let me know if you try it.

I used about 6 months ago, but then I ran into a bunch of issues with it and ended up deleting it. It has a ton of potential, but it didn't really meet my needs.

Used it for the past year, recently made the switch TO Brave! Privacy and security focused and creates by the creator of Javascript.

@jimmeh what kind of issues did you have ? I just installed it today so..

@neumann I hate to be that guy, but I honestly don't remember what everything. I know we have browser restrictions on our apps, and it didn't recognize it as a Chrome browser, so I couldn't use it for testing our software. I also had issues with the side tabs refreshing correctly. If have to log out and back in. There were some other reasons, but those are all I remember.
