Had my first evaluation session today, where people use my software for an hour and see if they like it. Mixed feelings.

For one thing there are indeed bugs here and there, but a lot of the things that people say are missing are there! They just didn't see it.

In times look this I see I still need to do better painfully clear.

    @carlosjpc would love to but this is my uni final project which I am supposed to work on solo.

    @nicknep007 getting advice from someone more experienced is surely fine as long as they don't take over completely

    You can also learn a lot about what's wrong with your UI when you just give people tasks they should be able to do with your tool and watch how they react, if they can complete the task, what places they click in order to try and find a feature. I remember we did this a lot, payed students 50€ and watched them trying to do tasks with our application.

    @nicknep007 asking “how could I do this feature better” is fine asking someone “he will you make this look better for me” is not
