One thing that really bothers me is that people use use megabyte to mean mebibyte. What makes it even worse is that Windows does it too. It says it shows gigabyte but actually shows gibibyte.

@FrodoSwaggins I'm not saying 1000bytes is a useful number, I'm just talking about your windows flaming statement based on an argument which is the opposite of reality. 1024bytes of course is more useful than 1000bytes, but that doesn't mean it should be used as kilobyte, it's not a fucking thousand, it's thousand plus 24, so don't use kilo there...
