Great !! Why would a tech giant like amazon work against linux ?

Amazon Prime music doesnt work with Linux/Firefox , but suddenly works when i switch user agent to Windows/Firefox . They are somehow purposefully blocking out linux ! Why ?? Whyyy ??

Maybe because of protected content where cant be ensured that you cant access it through linux?
Dont know what exactly Prime is containing?

@hypervtechnics that would be a cheap reason...I mean, if he was able to trick it through simple changes in the useragent...come on, can't believe they are genuinely trying to block

@ElToastGrande yeah maybe. But I think the biggest reasons are compatibility reasons... or they have a contract with Microsoft & Apple :P

@Artemix Nobody said Amazon is perfect 😂

@Artemix feature checking isn't perfect either.
But it's better then just checking useragent.
But you'd have to put checks in for a lot of stuff.

Without reading your 2nd paragraph, I was shocked.
AWS has their own Linux distribution. How can it work against Linux?!
For prime stuff, it's simple. General consumers don't use Linux. It's not worth to invest
