Well, you surprised him. He wasn't expecting what you said, his ego got hurt. So, he started shitting from where he's supposed to eat!!

In my experience these moments aren’t actually them wanting your opinion, it’s wanting you to solidify their own.

A simple “looks good” usually suffices.

They also think a presentation is reading off the bullet points they wrote on a shitty powerpoint slide. Marketing cunts with huge egos and precious little else. I hate those buzzword mother fucking brown tongued bastards, one step up from corporate IT dinosaurs who force everything Microsoft no matter how shit and flaky it is.
