Any. I'd suggest Ubuntu if you're new to Linux, just for the sheer amount of support there is for this distro. Arch is great too, but you'll be expected to be more knowledgeable about Linux before you can actually understand Arch support.

if you want to be 31337 install arch linux and mention it every 3 minutes to your fellow devs. (Like a vegan)
You'll be soo 31337 you have to reinstall arch linux on a weekly bases because you fucked up with a customization of the gui. But hey you'll be so 1337 and your fellow dev will look at you in envy and awe because you managed to get arch linux run on your machine. ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜œ

ps: your beard will grow faster if you install arch linux.

Never tested it, but Linux Mint seems to be acclaimed everywhere as a super user-friendly distro, but still very capable and customizable (not like that shitty Windows), also, it is a ubuntu based distro, so it is really well supported

@heyheni my beard not growing faster, did I do something wrong?

Also, there is fedora which is really user friendly, but supports free software more (default repos are only free software) and I heard some good from people who used it.

Manjaro, which is based on Arch (๐Ÿ˜) but I heard that a lot of people are having problems with it. (Supposed to be more stable than Arch,๐Ÿคจ), still seems like a good user friendly distro

Seconded on Fedora if you want to develop with and on some of the latest stuff, Suse Tumbleweed too. If you want more of an enterprise level then cant go wrong with Ubuntu, Debian or CentOS. For fun Gentoo, LFS, Void.
