All these wk98 rants are making me paranoid af

    Just plug an usb-hard-disk into an raspberry pi and store your most important files there.
    All in all it's 130€ for 2TB. I actually bought another disk for a raid for additional safety, but that isn't needed.

    Not paranoid, just more aware. There are some horror stories though.

    @-ANGRY-CLIENT- i was talking about the price of pi + hdd. Depending of what you have lieing around a pi will cost you ~70€.

    @-ANGRY-CLIENT- i forgot to mention you might need an usb-hub because you can't trust the pi to give the usb-hdd enough power. It worked fine for me the time i powered the hdd directly from the pi (~2 days) but i didn't want to risk it.
