Congratulations to the devrant app developer

I can tell it was written by a decent dev

Where other lazy things like graphical browsers fail when my phone is being throttled via my high speed data running out, somehow this app runs on the equivalent of 90s dial up speeds

Thanks for something to do lol

The app or the site? Both are made by decent devs. It uses jQuery in a specific way, but that was just how it was back then. Their API is decent and it's reasonably fast and not too hard rate limited. It can take a pounding. In exception of code formatting, I consider this platform perfect. Some minor nodes regarding not being able to change your image after upload using edit screen tho. Also, the website doesn't scroll nicely to the correct comment / upvote if you click on a notification. Meh, I delivered worse.

I'm most impressed by the avatar builder tho. From all stuff, that thing would keep me busy actually.

@AvatarOfKaine one buggy i often encounter, i want to post comment, add image, decided not to and cancel file selection, crash.

But yo uare right, in devRant is put a lot of love once. You can feel it. Sometimes people are talking about making a devRant alternative, but i do not think it's the site that doesn't satisfy people. I have no idea why devrant became less popular. I think it's because of centralization of bigger other platforms like Reddit.
