BordedDev73010hI hope so @retoor, all the wise men I know tell me to stick my dick in crazy - some of them are even married XD
-
@retoor Yeah, one of them even said, "all woman are crazy in Africa, so that'll be normal for you"
The other said, "rather you know she's crazy now (and how) then find out when you're married"
Don't think I have found a negative person around me 😅 -
retoor51256h@BordedDev well actually, if someone is weird from the beginning, watch out! People are on their best behavior at the beginning. We had it with hiring Indians, many were kinda submissive but we were looking for a strong lead dev. Then we found a guy with quite some mouth, one that we were not really used to from the average Indian but that's kinda what we wanted right? So we hired the Indian with the big mouth to lead team there. Well, that guy was crazy. If he is not even able to shut is mouth proper at interview, it only gets worse when working a few weeks. Also, he really had luck to be hired with such mouth at an interview. But he had an attitude that seemed to be workable at the beginning and we saw that mouth as a skill even. It's the Indian I told about who got rapey after a few beers :p I had to bring him home with a coworker before he got his ass kicked by someone 😂
-
@retoor True about that, but that's the thing about spending a lot of time with someone right, you get to learn their secrets and how they feel about things, and how they react to their AI bot not working ;P
The worst Indian I had, was one showing up to 2 onboarding meetings and then quit the client "because I thought you guys were serious" when we were waiting for everyone was joining and the HR lady was doing lame icebreakers.
I don't tend to brag (intentionally) all that much, but I will let me feelings/judgment be known if asked (or provoked), or I think it's important for that other person to know -
retoor51255h@BordedDev how someone treats his chatbot says a lot about someone, I'm sure :p imagine reading someone's got history. That's how you start to know people 😁
I just checked, I would never share my gpt :p -
@retoor Hmmm guess I'll have to start reading through that big collection of code repos she has ;P but that will probably get me too... distracted...
I hope she likes the couple commits she can see ;P
But I guess it's like the restaurant test, right? How do you treat the serving staff
I mean I see /her/ GPT all the time ;P
Sigh stuck again
