Generally, generalizing doesn't make a lot of sense.(irony)
Why would anyone assume something is all one thing? I saw a media inquiry about the current up to date list of what aliens look like. The responder said that is difficult to summarize as they had identified at the time there are at least 50 different species that have been encountered. Which sounds very fantastic and mind boggling on the surface. But the universe is VERY old. The chances of there only ever being one species in the local galaxy sounds absurd. Much less only one species with the tech to visit us. If there are any, it is much more likely there are many.
I don't buy the abiogenesis fantasy they taught in school. Not when they found algae, in space, thriving on the outside of the space station. It was surviving radiation of all types, extreme cold (though the vacuum traps heat) and zero atmosphere. Space is really complex it seems. -
@donkulator you see there is this "force" we can measure called "flux"... WTF are you talking about Jessie?! Sounds like magic.

just like physics makes more sense if it's all magnets instead of gravity
humans make more sense if it's all lizard people instead of "flawed humanity" or whatever the billion unuseful narrative excuses
