I hate weekly demos. Why not wait until something is done and ready to show, and then schedule a show an tell?

Otherwise you're just racing around to get some half-ass, not working rubbish in to make things look good. Yet it probably doesn't work at all, and is filled with technical debt that will make it to production.

    Weekly demos are usually a result of managers attempting to not look idle, while not having enough actual shit to do.

    Well in my case our client is always happy to see something (ugly of course) but he sees it as his little baby starting to walk. Ohh but that depends on the client, it's not always a beautiful story u.u

    The key to a good weekly demo is to use it as a way to show how you're iterating toward a solution and where you currently are. If it's a way to have a weekly deadline, then your manager sucks.
